Im trying to get back to grips with Big Finish audiobooks in this year of 1 episode so I have bought quite a lot of Subs to BF and have begun listening to them again a bit more regularly.
My limited thoughts are:-
Doom Coalition I - Really really enjoyed this, love the villain the Eleven, need to listen to DC II now its arrived
Torchwood releases - These have generally been really good fun. Favourite though has been #7 The Victorian Age, hope Queen Vic is a recurring Torchwood character
210: The Peterloo Massacre - I was expecting the usual oddball writing from Paul Magrs but instead this is one of the best evocations of the classic series in a long while, a real tour de force and highly recommended
The War Doctor volume 1 - I have to day this was a fantastic release, something that I thought John Hurt might phone in as a performance but he really throws himself into the adventures in this volume and again its a throughly enjoyable release
The Churchill Years volume 1 - This is the only dissapointing release really, its nice that its based on his adventures with the various new series Doctors but the problem is that the adventures really do suffer from the absence of the Doctor, well theu do for me. Its a shame as Ian McNiece tries hard, just doesnt quite hit the spot.
The ISOS Network - Another success and great to have another 2nd Doctor adventure, really got drawn into this and these adventures benefit from being 2 CD stories
